Babiators...for Baby
I saw these on one of my friends babies in a photo, so I just had to get a pair for the twins. Babiators are basically the baby version of aviator sunglasses. Only the cool thing is they have a no-break/no lose policy! You can't beat that can you??
I got mine on Amazon, but I know they are sold at other retailers as well.
Check these out! Totally adorbs!
Her's are: Babiators Unisex Infant Wicked-White-size small

A Look Back at our Valentine's DIY Treats!
I managed to find the time to bake and mail out quite a few Valentine's sugar cookies (lemon & almond) just before Valentine's Day. I sent them out as DIY gifts to friends and family back home. I miss them all so much.
Here are a few photos of my beginner's endeavours.
I used the sugar cookie recipe from Sweetopia, as well as her Royal Icing recipe. The icing works like a charm, and although I did experience some spreading with the cookies, I'm fairly sure that it's due to the higher elevation where we live.

So there's this thing called Julep...
One of my Instagram friends, Michelle from Texas Tanners blog (who by the way ALSO just had twins) turned me on to Julep. Julep is just plain awesomeness. Julep has the most amazing and beautiful nail polish, nail lacquer, as well as beauty and body products. It works very similar to Birchbox, in that you sign up to become a "Maven" after determining what beauty profile you belong to, then select your monthly subscription. Each month you receive a random shipment, falling within your e color & style category. My subscription was $19.99 a month.
For instance, mine was "Bombshell", so each month I get a full size product and two limited edition nail lacquers.
The first month, I got the start-up kit, which contained 5 nail lacquers and an amazing nude-pink lip gloss that tasted like cupcakes. The bonus was that it didn't taste fake or like chemicals, which many often do.
Yesterday I placed an order for the "Oxygen" nail treatment, shown here:
And I also ordered this beautiful gold-glitter polish...which I can't wait to try out. You MUST check it out. Thanks Michelle.

Time to Update
I've very clearly been absent from both my blogs for months now...but I have a wonderful excuse...the TWINS are finally here!! Well, they didn't JUST get here. In fact-they will be 4 months on Friday!!!! YAY!!!!
The last few months were filled with adjusting to a new life with babies (Psst, I forgot they don't sleep through the night), finding a nanny while I went back to work, and generally caring for them as well reestablished what life would be like from here forward.
The current agenda right now is 1) getting them to sleep through the night......(going so-so), & 2) working through all the teething issues.
My personal laptop hard drive crashed at the beginning of the year, and with everything going on, I just got it replaced last night. So over the next few weeks my goal is to get both blogs updated, and start integrating back into society-ha!
